Dancique School of Dance in Roseville offers dance classes for all levels from Kindergarten – Year 12 students.
We strive to provide strong programs for our recreational classes, competitive teams and soloists, catering for each dancers’ individual development.
Our aims are to train each of our dancers to develop foundational dance skills, technique, confidence and stage performance in a creative and friendly environment.
Dancique teachers ensure their dancers can enjoy every class, as we believe each class is a step closer to a dancer’s progress.
Tiffany’s creative journey began as a competitive Rhythmic Gymnast from the age of 7- competing in numerous regional and state level championships. During her busy weekly training sessions, dancing had always played a supporting role to improve her style, technique, flexibility, poise and confidence. After years of dedication towards the sport she decided to focus her training purely on dance at the age of 18. She continued training over 4 years at several dance academies including Brent Street Performing Arts School, Valerie Smith Stage School and CentreStage Academy. She then completed 2 years of intensive full time dance courses, under the direction of Australia’s most leading dance teachers, mentors and choreographers. Having returned from various experiences as a professional dancer, choreographer, personal trainer and gymnastics coach, Tiffany’s heart was set on establishing a dance school of her own. Today Tiffany is 100% driven by her passion for dance, and determined to inspire her students through encouragement, guidance and support. Qualifications and Training: Certificate IV in Performing Arts (Dance), Certificate III and IV in Fitness, Working with Children Check, AIS Child Protection, Rhythmic Gymnastics coaching, First Aid.
Tani's dance journey began at age 4 where she joined a local studio to learn ballet. Fast forward to age 12, was dancing 30 plus hours a week divided between her commitments to Newtown High School of Performing Arts and one of Sydney's renowned dance schools. Her involvement in both faculties and companies afforded her the opportunity to tour nationally and internationally performing in front of sold-out audiences. Additionally, she was selected as one of 10 students to perform in a major Miami dance festival and offered multiple college scholarships. In current times, Tani continues to develop her knowledge of dance and teaching by taking classes and performing at events. Dance has engrained discipline, team-work, perseverance, adaptability and improvisation skills that she carries into all aspects of her personal and professional life - all of which she is excited to pass onto her students at Dancique.
Karis began her training at age 3 and has since developed a strong passion for dance and teaching. She trained with Brent Street Studios for 12 years in numerous styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical and musical theatre. Karis completed her Certificate IV in Dance at Ettingshausens pro full-time and has performed in musicals including The Sound of Music and The Wiz. Her other professional work includes various film and television appearances including the motion picture Happy Feet, short film Dysphoria, Dance Boss, screenings of The Voice and The X Factor Australia. Most recently, Karis has returned from a 9 month contract with Tokyo DisneySea as a lead aerialist and dancer. On top of her busy schedule, Karis is a passionate teacher with 6 years of experience guiding competition and recreational students of all ages. Furthermore, she enjoys watching the growth in her students as they develop a greater understanding of dance. Her goals are to encourage an exciting, supportive environment for her Dancique students.
Genevieve started dancing at age 3 and was a previous Dancique student. She participated in hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, jazz and represented the school at competition level through troupe and solo performances. She completed her HSC in 2018 with dance as an elective - received a score of 90 with full marks in her composition which was then nominated for the Callback Showcase. Following her passion for dance, Gen enrolled into the AMPA full time dance course, gained her Certificate III in Dance Teaching and is now studying a Bachelor of Performing Arts majoring in Dance at Macquarie Uni. Her love of performing is also seen through her theatre and musical appearances with various companies, casted as lead roles. Gen is excited to share her passion and joy of dance. She loves teaching her students at Dancique, passing on her knowledge and technique gained from her time at the school.
Natalia spent her early years at Ecole Ballet and Dance Theatre and was of Brightstars Agency as part of their commercial talent program. She expanded her dance training by moving onto other genres including lyrical, contemporary, jazz and performance group at CentreStage Academy where she trained regularly and learnt the fundamentals of competitive dancing. She trained as a rhythmic gymnast during high school at PLC and as well as continuing with dance and drama to improve her performance skills. Natalia was also trained by Miss Tiffany and spent a year competing under Dancique as a soloist and continued to grow her passion towards the school. She graduated from Macquarie Uni with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Dance with a Distinction average in her dance performance units. Natalia firmly believes that passionate dancers can be presented with a wide range of entertainment opportunities beyond the stage and studio, and currently enjoys working as a freelance model and dancer for various photographers and emerging artists. She is excited to pass on her enthusiasm and encourage Dancique students to accept new opportunities that may come along during their dance journeys.
Kahlia began dancing at age 3, spending most of her dance life under the direction of the Brent Street Performing Arts team, dancing up to 25 hours a week at age 14. Kahlia is highly experienced in all genres of dance including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, JFH, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical, tap and jazz technique. Kahlia has worked with some of the best in the business with a long list of credentials- these including numerous film and television appearances, performing at award nights and small productions. Overtime she has worked closely along side some of Australia’s leading choreographers and celebrities, including Jason Gilkison, Jacqui Howard, Kelly Abbey, Hugh Jackman, Olivia Newton John, Delta Goodrem, and many more. Kahlia and twin sister were casted as lead dancers in Baz Luhrmann’s ‘The Great Gatsby’, a knockout role for the Greksa sisters! Kahlia is currently teaching at numerous studios in Sydney, her successful dance career and passion to perform is something that inspires her students today. She’s excited to share her knowledge and training with her Dancique students.
