ENROLMENT

Enrolment is annual, please contact Dancique if any student or parent/guardian details change throughout the year.
New and existing students are to enrol/re-enrol each year. One enrolment application must be completed for each student.
New students may enrol once the year has commenced, however, there may be a waiting period or restrictions due to class capacity.
Annual enrolment fee (non-refundable): $30.00 per student

Invoices will be emailed to the primary contact 3 – 4 weeks before each term.
Payment is non-refundable for cancellations or missed classes. However, if unforeseen circumstances arise, such as a serious injury, please contact Dancique for assistance.
Any payments made after the invoice due date will incur a late fee: $5 late by 3 weeks then a $5 increment each week until fees are paid in full.
Extra costs throughout the year include compulsory uniform items, concert/performance costumes, concert tickets and concert videos.

All students are expected to attend classes regularly and punctually.
They are to arrive at class or their designated areas on time.

Form-fitting attire allows the dance teacher to observe students’ shapes/lines, and therefore corrections can be easily made.
Hair must be off the face, tied back in a ponytail, braid or bun.
Respect for dance teachers, fellow peers, and dance genres is mandatory.

Parents/guardians are welcome to quietly view the last 5 minutes of class.
Students are under full supervision whilst in the dance venue only.
After class students may wait quietly inside the venue or an area assigned by the dance teacher, ready for pick up. It is encouraged that students are collected from inside the dance venue – parking is available at all venues.

Dance involves physical activity therefore classes may involve risks of personal injury.
Whilst Dancique School of Dance will always strive to provide a safe and fun learning environment, the School and the teachers will not be held responsible for injury of any kind. Parents are responsible for ensuring their child is physically and medically fit for class.
Students must notify the dance teacher with regard to any existing injury prior to class.
A first aid kit with basic materials will be made available. The School and the teachers will not be responsible for administering prescription medication.

Any property found at the end of class will be collected by the dance teacher and returned to the student owner.
Please ensure dance attire and all other personal property are labelled.
Any unnamed lost property will be placed in the lost property box. Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of each Term.
Dancique is not liable for any loss or damage of personal property.
Physical contact may be necessary at times between the teacher and student to correct alignment, movement and technique.

Some group and individual photography may be used for promotional material, including the school’s website, Facebook and Instagram page.
Please advise the school if you do not want your child to be photographed throughout the year. Please also advise if you do not want your child’s photo to be used for promotional purposes, such as social media.

All students are given the opportunity to showcase their dance routine(s) at the annual concert in Term 4.
All students are expected to perform.
Notification by the end of Term 2 must be given if a student can not perform at the annual concert.

Participation in Performance Troupes are by invitation only.
Troupe contracts must be read, signed, and returned to Dancique immediately after enrolment is submitted online.
